12 Layer Jello

I stole this off my friend's Lu's blog, but I wanted to share it on this blog.

12 Layer Jello

Ingredients:
6 - 3 oz boxes of Jello. (whatever colors you want!)
1 - 16 oz thing of sour cream

1. Line all the boxes of jello up in the order you want them, this helps you remember the order as this seems to be an all day recipe. Put your 9x13 glass dish in the fridge to get it nice & cold.
2. Dissolve 1 pkg of Jello in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir well, make sure it is all dissolved.
Then separate the mixture into 2 bowls - 1/2 cup of jello in each.
3. In one bowl mix jello with 1/3 cup of sour cream - In the other bowl add 3 tbsp of cold water
*Side note - it kind of takes some mixing to get the jello & sour cream mixed together. Make sure to spoon the bubbles off the top when done mixing
4. Get your dish out of the fridge & add the sour cream/jello mixture first. Let it set in the fridge until set. *When it is the first layer I usually let it set for a while so the layer doesn't break, usually about 30 min.
5. After the first layer is set, carefully pour the other bowl of jello on top. Set in fridge until set.
6. Repeat 5 more times & enjoy!!

It is an all day recipe. Once you get a few layers done you can add a new layer about every 15-20 min.

Tuna Noodle Casserole

This is a variation on an old favorite. The original Campbell's recipe is here, we made it and didn't love it so we changed it.

Tuna Noodle Casserole

2 cans (10 3/4 oz. each) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (regular or 25% Lower Sodium)
1 cup milk
1 can cut green beans, drained
2 cans (about 10 oz. each) tuna, drained
4 cups hot cooked medium egg noodles
½ - 1 cup grated cheese
1 cup French's fried onions

1. Stir soup, milk, green beans, tuna, cheese and cooked noodles in a 3-quart casserole dish. (You can even add some of the fried onions into the casserole if desired)

2. Bake at 400°F. for 30 min. or until hot. Stir.

3. Sprinkle fried onions over tuna mixture. Bake for 5 min. more.

TIP: For Chicken Noodle Casserole: Substitute about 2 cups cooked cubed chicken or 1 large can Chunk Chicken, drained, for tuna.
